This chart gives you a good idea of the direction of the upward adjustments mentioned in my earlier post from today. The blue bars show where the raw temperature data has been adjusted downwards to make it cooler; the red bars show where the raw temperature data has been adjusted upwards to make it warmer. Why such a remarkable change beginning after 1940 – when industrialization ramped up significantly? You do not have to have had my 40 -year experience as a scientific paper reviewer to spot data that was doctored to make one’s conclusion “valid.”
