Thought you’d like to know.

I don’t think this is highly accurate, but it definitely gives one the general lay of the land. Without question, our nation needs to rebuild its military readiness. No one said it was easy or cheap to be The World Superpower. (You can also see why this is the “money pot” the Democrat Party always aims at to fund its next give-away.)

Maybe this is why China is helping to convince North Korea to “go non-nuclear.”

China is building its navy. It has a way to go to reach ours, but it is still disquieting.

Let’s move to something a bit more lighthearted. I’m not sure how San Francisco stayed off this list, but living in its environs I feel really sorry for Singaporeans.

Again, I can’t vouch for the accuracy of this chart. There are ever so many reasons that the “minimum wage” is a bad idea.

  1. David L. Wood M.D. says:

It is an absolute must for the United States to expend whatever it needs to in order to have and maintain military strength for our security and the security of our allies and friends.

As to the economic unsoundness of government’s intrusion and manipulation of business and and conditions of employment, the unintended consequences are almost always negative and destructive of the freedom of competition in a truly free-market economy.
