Amber Elizabeth Lyon is a three-time Emmy award winning investigative journalist and photographer. She used to work for CNN – no longer. She is best known for her work reporting human rights abuses against pro-democracy protesters in Bahrain.
She was shocked when CNN refused to air a segment she wrote during the Arab Spring in Bahrain. When she started to dig into the reasons behind why CNN would not air this news story she uncovered shocking facts about the network and the Obama administration. Amber found that CNN is routinely paid by the U.S. government and other foreign governments to selectively report and air news stories on events from around the world.
