Trump is right about regulations.

No tyranny is more cruel than the one practiced in the shadow of the laws and under the colors of justice — when, so to speak, one proceeds to drown the unfortunate on the very plank by which they had saved themselves.

Charles de Secondat, baron de Montesquieu

The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws.

Tacitus

One needs to ask the question “what has happened since 1950 that required our government to create a blizzard of new regulations?” Was there a new World War? Was there a new world-wide epidemic like the 1918 flu epidemic? Did life expectancy decline for known reasons that must be thwarted? The answers to these questions is an emphatic, “No!” So then what is the reason, ask you? I consider myself a highly trained and experienced diagnostician. As you watch the video below, instead of focusing your attention on the “stack on the right,” pay greater attention to the “stack on the left.” Then you will have your answer.

And, by the by, the “thing” that happened since 1950 that led to the above tidal wave of regulations was the flowering of “liberal,” “progressive” government. The ironic fact is that it was the support of the 1960s anti-government protesters that gave us the largest, most intrusive government the United States has ever seen.

Big Government = Bad Government. It’s axiomatic!

And thanks to JB for sending this to me.
