Give me a break!

According to a poll (1/2015 the most recent poll) conducted by the Military Times, only 15 percent of active-duty service members approve of President Obama’s performance as commander-in-chief. That’s quite the drop from 35 percent in 2009. (No poll was conducted during the 2016 presidential election cycle – hmm.)

So what did our illustrious president do on his current and ongoing “victory tour.” He embarrassingly and undeservedly had his Secretary of Defense award him with the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service. He can hang that one next to his embarrassing and undeserved Nobel Peace Prize.

Obama is no better than a tin-pot dictator. How many times have we seen “medals” self-bestowed on thugs?

  1. Bill Grisham CPA says:

This just proves the uselessness and senselessness of most of the government issued medals and commendations.

  2. David L. Wood says:

This military poll certainly reflects obviously how well the military men and women recognize the Big O’s disdain for the military and its power to hold offensive and dangerous armed forces around the world in check and thus reduce our forces’ ability to insure the security of the country here at home. It also indicates their disappointment and disapproval of the anti-American actions of this present White House occupant around the world and at home. When the very leader from whom these military forces see their power diminished and their local leaders dismissed because of political disagreements with the ‘commander-in-chief, is it any wonder that their moral goes down as their disgust goes up? To me, The Distinguished Public Service medal to Big O should be labeled the “Distinguished Medal of Dishonor to the United States.”
