Flynn.

It is difficult for me to describe my joy at watching the Democrat Party throwing their hands up in despair. The philosophy of Obama and Clinton has been utterly repudiated. As Kurt Schlicter recently opined, “The left is trying to come to grips with its utter rejection, and its response to Donald Trump will be to fall back on an endless series of freakoutrages – hyperbolic, unhinged, hack media-fueled spasms of faux moral panic every time he dares do anything.” I’ll be laughing all the way.

Trump began appointing solid people to important positions less than 24 hours after the New York Times declared that his transition team was in disarray. The lame stream media then took aim at his chosen advisers, none so aggressively as their outrage at the choice if General Michael Flynn.

These are things worth knowing about General Flynn. To begin with, he is a registered DEMOCRAT! He was fired (forced out) from his job in the Army because he had the temerity to criticize Obama’s handling of the wars in the Middle East.

Before we examine General Flynn’s stellar record, we should first look at the military experience of those chosen by Democrat voters to run the wars.

Barack Hussein Obama – never served in the military.

Joseph Robinette Biden – according to Selective Service records, the Vice President received multiple deferments during the Viet Nam War. A month after undergoing a physical exam in April 1968, Mr. Biden received a Selective Service classification of 1-Y, meaning he was available for service only in the event of national emergency.

William Jefferson Clinton – Political and family influence kept Clinton out of the draft. Robert Corrado — the only surviving Hot Springs draft board member from that period — concluded that Clinton’s draft statement was the result of “some form of preferential treatment.” According to records, “Corrado recalled that the chairman of the three-man draft panel … once held back Clinton’s file with the explanation that ‘we’ve got to give him time to go to Oxford.'” You can read the whole sordid history here. So NO MILITARY SERVICE DURING A WAR!

Hillary Rodham Clinton – Hillary Clinton claimed that she tried to join the Marines in 1975. In June 1994, the then-first lady spoke at a luncheon for female military veterans where she told a story about her attempt to sign up for the Marines in 1975. Like most utterances by Hillary, the skepticism around this claim is similar to her coming under sniper fire in Kosovo.

Let us now look at General Flynn. His career spanned more than 35 years in service to the United States. He served several tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, for a total of almost five years in combat, and was a senior military intelligence officer in the Department of Defense. He served as the director of intelligence for the Joint Chiefs of Staff; the U.S. Central Command, which oversees operations in the Middle East; the NATO mission in Afghanistan; and the Joint Special Operations Command.

He has three masters degrees, an MBA in telecommunications, an MMAS in the military arts and sciences; and a masters in national security studies. Flynn was awarded four Bronze Star medals. Flynn also authored the New York Times bestseller “The Field of Fight: How We Can Win the Global War Against Radical Islam.”

If you listen to the Progressive/Statist/Altruists you would come to the conclusion that we certainly wouldn’t want someone like him advising our next president on Islamic radicals.
