England has existed as a unified entity since the 10th century. The Magna Carta was agreed to by King John in 1215. The union between England and Wales, began in 1284. So let’s call it an even 11 centuries!
England has been part of the EU for a mere 23 years.
So when I hear morons saying that England’s departure from the EU places it in “uncharted waters,” I must don a face of haughty derision and ever-so-slight amusement.
