Really? You’re looking for a “third party” candidate.

It strikes me as odd that people are “awaiting a third party candidate.” We already have a third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh… seventeenth party candidate. There is quite a list as you will see at the end of the post. There are several Socialist party candidates (Bernie wasn’t the only one) and the “Worker’s” parties are “commies,” if you prefer them. And that doesn’t include more than 100 Americans interested in being write-in candidates. I’m thinking I might go with the Cherry Picker Party of Utah candidate, Mike Fahl. Also, these candidates have a nice ring to them:

Kevin Deame (Pirate – Connecticut) Really? “Pirate?”

Caesar St Augustine DeBuonaparte (Absolute Dictator – California) Sounds like my kinda’ guy!

Zoltan Istvan (Transhumanist – California) I shudder to think of what that means or what their bathrooms look like!

Paul “Superman” Falkenberg (Independent – Wisconsin) I like the name!

Vincent Jones II (Bull Moose – South Carolina) They haven’t won in a while.

Roger Nichols (United Party – Missouri) If they are “United” they’re doing better than the Democrats and Republicans.

Dinesh Ravishanker (New White – California) What happened to the “Old” White Party?

These candidates are REAL candidates! This is not a joke (see below).

People! Let’s get a clue. The next President of the United States of America will either be Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump! Do sane people really want to put the Clintons back at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue?

4 Responses to Really? You’re looking for a “third party” candidate.

  1. Bill Conklin says:

The rapidly increasing perfidy, selfishness, and cynicism of virtually all of our national (and local) politicians, combined with the ever-growing ignorance of our population has led us to this pretty pass. We have two horrifyingly bad candidates, each a form of psychopath, in my opinion. One’s a career criminal and liar; the other is an ignorant megalomaniac blowhard. I wouldn’t trust either with my grocery list; never mind the nuclear codes and the responsibility for our foreign affairs..

So your assignment, class, is to pick the least horrifying candidate. Extra credit will be given for the most creative rationalization your selection.

    • Roy Filly says:

To say that a person running for president is a “megalomaniac” sounds like synonymous terms. You think Hillary (and Bill) AREN’T megalomaniacs?

  2. Flayer says:

Thanks, I’ll vote for the candidate who has actually had a job in the economy – something that is a rarity these days. I’ll vote for a candidate who MENTIONED in positive terms my 2nd A rights and won’t step on them. I’ll vote for the candidate who has actually built stuff, not just pushed paper and sat in useless commissions. I’ll vote for a man who has a nice family with seemingly
well-raised, hard-working kids who have no illusions of entitlement other than an opportunity to pitch in and make something of themselves. I’ll vote for the person who has actually engaged in charity of his own money that he earned
and not mine, then call herself “generous.” I’ll vote for the person who supports and respects our military. I’ll vote for a proven record of competency: projects coming in early and under budget. Can you guess who that might be? And I’ll
    PROUDLY do so.
